Owner Steven Fritz began as a wood craftsman building custom furniture and installing millwork. Demand for Steven’s artistry and attention to quality grew into his company, Fritz Carpentry & Contracting.

Fritz Carpentry & Contracting works with clients to create and execute renovation projects that bring the clients’ vision for their home to life—from true historic restorations that reveal and enhance original character to modern updates the celebrate and enhance their clients’ personal taste. This includes:
- Working with the client to identify their aesthetic, provide options in their budget and mechanical drawings and/or partner with the architect and interior designer of the client’s choosing
- Selecting all finishes including hardware, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, paint colors/wallpaper and décor
- Vendor and budget management, as well as all scheduling
- Custom woodwork (cabinetry, doors, windows, moldings) and stone (sinks, counters, trim), furniture and finishes
With every project—from whole home re-builds to bathroom and kitchen renovations to custom cabinetry, customer satisfaction is of utmost importance and building strong, lifelong relationships with our clients and partners is the goal.
The success of this philosophy has allowed Fritz Carpentry & Contracting to grow and expand its operations to a new custom wood shop in the heart of Philadelphia’s upper mainline, Frazer, Pennsylvania.
